Hello! I’m Elaine, and I am embarking on an exploration of the creative world. I’m breaking out of my engineer-by-day reads nonfiction-by-night mold to unleash my creativity, which I feel has been put aside for far too long. My goal here is to capture the exploration process, from my writing to art to learning experiences and everything in between.

What is the “Sea of E?”
Not only a play on the letters of my name, but it also rhymes with “creativity.” I wanted to encourage this sense of exploration and adventure in trying new things, much like exploring a new environment like the sea! It also reminds me of the names of locations on Earth’s Moon, like Sea of Tranquility, Sea of Serenity, Sea of Knowledge, Sea of Cleverness, etc. (Didn’t know there were other “Sea of …” on the Moon? Sure enough, there are lots of them!). And the nerdy engineer side comes out again.
